Arrangement:
The Hampton Roads
Pikes Alumni Association is the joint combination of the Alumni
Association and Housing Corporation for the Zeta Iota chapter
at Old Dominion University. An executive board, consisting of
the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary is responsible
for managing alumni association responsibilities and the structuring
of alumni relations and activities.
How
do join the Alumni Association?
To join, just fill out the online information
form
. Filling out this information gives the HRPAA contact information
about yourself to inform you about upcoming events, current
news on alumni members, and what exciting new things the chapter
is experiencing. After filling out the form, you will
need to respond to the email that is sent to you in order to
have your account processed.

What
kind of events does the alumni association organize?
There have been several events that the alumni association has
sponsored, and we are continuing to make some events annual
and more elaborate. So far the HRPAA has organized pre-game
parties during each semester, the Annual Golf Tournament, Pikes
Patty's Day, Career Day, and the Fall Oyster Roast. For

How
can I help or get involved?
An obvious way to help out the alumni association is to attend
events when possible and to encourage other alumni to join the
organization. Sending a check for a scholarship
fund or attending the Annual Career Day for the Zeta Iota chapter
is a great way to help. Another way to assist is
by helping active members of Zeta Iota obtain internships or
jobs.
Can
I bring someone with me to HRPAA Events?
Absolutely. Wives, fiancés, girlfriends or dates are always
welcome to accompany you to events and join in the festivities.
